LA TERRASSE
OUR ROOMS
LA TERRASSE
La Terrasse is a 55 sqm suite with its own private entrance, which feels less like a doorway and more like a gentle permission slip to exist at your own pace. You can slip in and out as you like, ideally with a coffee in hand and the faint impression that you might, at some point, accomplish something meaningful, though not necessarily today.
It opens onto a 400 sqm terrace that doesn’t really try to impress you, because it knows it doesn’t need to. The view does most of the talking, and it speaks in long, unhurried sentences.
Inside, a king-size bed (180 × 200) waits with quiet confidence, as if it has already decided you will sleep well. A dressing room offers space for all your possible selves—effortlessly elegant, slightly rumpled, or somewhere in between. The bathroom, with its Italian-style shower, invites you to linger a little too long, somewhere between a ritual and a daydream, with just a trace of Côte d’Azur lightness.
Three large windows open onto the garden, letting in a soft, patient light that settles on timeless design pieces, linen bedding that looks like it has never known stress, and flowers that seem to have been arranged by someone who understands that nothing needs to be rushed.

THE POOL
The swimming pool at Maison Duroy isn’t just a pool—it’s basically a lifestyle choice with water in it. Tucked into the rolling Gascon countryside, it lounges lazily between three impressively dignified 100-year-old olive trees (who have definitely seen things) and a chorus line of flamboyant oleander bushes. The whole scene comes with a sweeping view of the surrounding hills that makes you wonder why you ever bothered with city life.
For peak enjoyment, slip into the silky salt water either just before sunset—when the sky puts on a show worthy of applause—or early in the morning, when the world is still quiet and a young deer family casually strolls across the opposite hill, as if they, too, booked a peaceful countryside retreat.
