Maison Duroy is a fairy tale manor framed by centuries-old trees and set in the middle of four hectares of land. Its 400 square metre terrace offers a magnificent view over the rolling hills of the Gascogne.

Here, in the Tuscany of France, Henri IV built his hunting lodge five hundred years ago.

The first thing you notice is the tranquility that Maison Duroy radiates, far away from the hectic pace of everyday life. The Duroy is more than a boutique hotel – it is an attitude. It combines relaxed elegance, timeless design and the love of excellent food.

The interior design of Maison Duroy is all about the small fine details that can be found throughout the house. With works by internationally renowned designers, the house beautifully merges old structures with modern design.

Maison Duroy is run by the Swiss couple Sylvia and François – who having excelled in the corporate world, were called, increasingly loudly, by their love of nature, beauty, food and friendship … life. Like all great love stories, they dreamed of the house for years; but then, in what seemed like an instant, they discovered and bought the house in 2019, renovating it with great attention to detail and furnishing it with finds from their travels together. Sylvia is a wonderful host who responds to guests’ wishes with great sensitivity and charm. François is a passionate gardener and chef who lovingly prepares little treats for the guests in the kitchen.
